Juan Manuel’s field of expertise is linked to business and project management since 2002. As Managing Partner of SD Group, a company specialized in supporting business managers through professional planning and project management, he has +15 years of experience the development and planning of companies in different countries across different sectors. He is also a Member of the Board of the CIP Institute, an international non-profit based in Belgium focused on developing more resilient societies.
In the field of Project Management, he is founding member of APGP (Association of Professional Project Managers, Spain), where he has served as Secretary General until 2019. He is member of the Committee for Project Management and the Committee for Organizational Governance for UNE (Spain). He is also an accredited expert for ISO International 21500 WG10, the overarching standard for project management. He has been linked to PM2 since its official release 2018 and is part of the Spanish translation team. He is member of the PM² Alliance and participates in the Associations&Non-Profits Advisory Committee.
Juan Manuel holds an MBA from IE Business School and a degree in Food Engineering. He is accredited as Project Management Professional (PMP®), Lead Auditor in Business Continuity Management (ISO 22301) and EFQM Evaluator (European Foundation for Quality Management).
