History of PM²

The development of the PM² methodology begun in 2007 and the first version was released for the EU institutions in 2008. The first open access publication, the “PM² Guide—Open Edition” was published in November 2016 under an open source license.​

The OpenPM² Initiative

With the OpenPM² Initiative, in 2017, the EU Commission provided open access to PM² to everyone beyond the EU institutions such as Member States, Contractors and finally all EU citizens.
